This policy applies to FleetCor Technologies, Inc. and its group companies (collectively, FleetCor) and the websites that they operate. FleetCor operates this card program and website.


FleetCor considers your privacy important. We are committed to protecting the privacy of those who provide us with their contact and personal information. Information We Collect


As a provider of payments services or other business services, we may have a direct relationship with you, and you may choose to provide personal information to us in connection with that relationship.


For example, you may provide us personal information when you apply for a product offered through FleetCor; sign up for FleetCor information; participate in promotions or surveys; apply for a product; apply to work for FleetCor; or otherwise communicate with us. When you provide this information to us, you are no longer anonymous. When applying for a business relationship and during such a business relationship, we obtain personal information about you from financial institutions and other entities in connection with your transactions. We also may obtain information about you from companies that process payment transactions, publicly available information systems, credit reporting agencies, and commercial information services.


If you apply for FleetCor products or services on our websites or through one of our sales associates, you may choose to provide us with your company and/or personal information.


FleetCor is not responsible for the information you volunteer about yourself in discussions in our forums or in publicly accessible interactions. The types of personal information we may obtain are:


  • Contact information (such as name, postal or e-mail addresses, and phone or fax numbers)
  • Business contact information (such as job title, department and name of organization)
  • Applicant and co-applicant information (such as name, postal or e-mail addresses, phone or fax numbers, date of formation or birth, and identification numbers)

  • Social Media identifier (such as Facebook id)

  • Other information (such as purchasing behavior and preferences, language preference, age, date of birth, gender and family status)

Anonymous Information We Collect


We collect certain information by automated means, such as cookies and web beacons, when you visit our websites. The information we collect in this manner includes IP address, browser type, operating system, referring URLs, information on actions taken on a website, and dates and times of website visits. A "cookie" is a text file placed on a computer's hard drive or your mobile device's memory by a web server.   • Certain transactions may involve you calling us or us calling you. They may also involve online chats. Please be aware that it is FleetCor’s general practice to monitor and in some cases record such interactions for staff training or quality assurance purposes or to retain evidence of a particular transaction or interaction.


Information We Share


We do not sell or otherwise disclose personal information we collect about you, except as described herein or as otherwise disclosed to you at the time the data is collected.


We share information to perform transactions and other activities in connection with our business relationship. We may share the personal information we collect with our affiliates, issuers, merchants, processors, suppliers, and other entities that assist with transactions. We also may share the information with our service providers who perform services on our behalf. We do not authorize these service providers to use or disclose the information except as necessary to perform certain services on our behalf or comply with legal requirements. We require these service providers by contract to appropriately safeguard the privacy and security of personal information they process on our behalf.


We may share information with businesses with which we have a business relationship. Such businesses may contact you about products or services that may be of interest to you.


On our websites, you may choose to use certain features for which we partner with other entities. These features, which may include social networking and geographic location tools, may be operated by third parties that are not affiliated with FleetCor. These third parties may use personal information in accordance with their own privacy policies. On sites on which these features are offered, the relevant third parties are identified on the websites. We strongly suggest you review the third parties' privacy policies if you use the relevant features.


We reserve the right to transfer personal information we have about you in the event we sell or transfer all or a portion of our business or assets. Should such a sale or transfer occur, we will use reasonable efforts to direct the transferee to use personal information you have provided to us in a manner that is consistent with our Global Privacy Policy. Following such a sale or transfer, you may contact the entity to which we transferred your personal information with any inquiries concerning the processing of that information.


Your Rights and Choices


You may have certain rights regarding the personal information we maintain about you. We offer you certain choices about what personal information we collect from you, how we use that information, and how we communicate with you.


You may choose not to provide personal information to FleetCor by refraining from conducting a transaction using our products or services. You may elect not to have a unique cookie identification number assigned to your computer to avoid aggregation and analysis of data collected on our websites. You may withdraw any consent you previously provided to us, or object at any time on legitimate grounds, to the processing of your personal information. We will apply your preferences going forward. In some circumstances, withdrawing your consent to our use or disclosure of your personal information will mean that you cannot take advantage of certain of our products or services. If you are located in the European Economic Area, you may direct us not to share your personal information with third parties, except (i) with service providers we have retained to perform services on our behalf, (ii) in the event we sell or transfer all or a portion of our business or assets, (iii) if disclosure is required by law or legal process, (iv) with law enforcement authorities or other government officials, or (v) when we believe disclosure is necessary or appropriate to prevent physical harm or financial loss, or in connection with an investigation of suspected or actual fraud or other illegal activity. If you are located in the European Economic Area, we use your personal information only for the purposes indicated in this policy and any other policies that we have notified you of unless we have a legal basis, such as consent, to use it for other purposes. Where required by law, FleetCor obtains your prior opt-in consent at the time of collection for the processing of (i) personal information for marketing purposes and (ii) personal information deemed sensitive pursuant to applicable law.


How We Keep Your Information Secure


FleetCor is based in the United States of America. Any information you provide may be transferred to, stored and maintained in a secure database in the United States or transferred to a secure database outside the Unites States. When we transfer your information to other countries, we will protect that information as described in this policy.


The data that we collect from you may be transferred to, and stored at, a destination outside your home country. It may also be processed by staff operating outside of your home country who work for us or for one of our suppliers. Such staff maybe engaged in, among other things, the fulfillment of your order, the processing of your payment details and the provision of support services. By submitting your personal data, you agree to this transfer, storing or processing. If you provide us with information about other employees or people in your organization, it is your responsibility to ensure that you have their consent to do so.


We will take reasonable measures to secure your data and protect it in accordance with this policy. FleetCor maintains an information security program that is designed to (i) secure and maintain confidentiality of your personal information; (ii) protect against anticipated threats or hazards to security or integrity of your personal information; (iii) protect against unauthorized access to or use of your personal information that could result in substantial harm or inconvenience to you or your entity if compromised; and (iv) comply with applicable laws. Our contracts with our suppliers and service providers similarly obligate them to protect your personal information.


Unfortunately, the transmission of information via the internet is not completely secure. Although we will do our best to protect your personal data, we cannot guarantee the security of your data transmitted to our sites; any transmission is at your own risk.


We use reasonable precautions, including appropriate technical, administrative, and physical procedures, to protect personal information from loss, misuse, or alteration. Information you provide to us is stored on our secure servers. Our Web pages that collect personally identifiable information, including personal and company information, are secured with Secured Socket Layers (SSLs). Most browsers will notify you of the pages secured by the SSLs.


Where we have given you (or where you have chosen) a password which enables you to access certain parts of our site, you are responsible for keeping this password confidential. We ask you not to share a password with anyone.


Subject to applicable law, you may have the right to request access to and receive information about the personal data we maintain about you, update and correct inaccuracies in your personal data, and have the information blocked or deleted, as appropriate. The right to access personal information may be limited in some circumstances by local law requirements.

Children's Privacy


FleetCor’s website is not intended for use by children, especially those under the age of 13. No one under the age of 13 should provide any personal information or participate in any forums, chats, or online discussions. Minors under the age of 18 are prohibited from applying for emails, newsletters and/or products or services, on our sites. If we identify that we have received any such data we will delete it.


Terms of Use


By using FleetCor’s website and its services, you consent to our use of your contact information as it is outlined in this policy together with any other policies and/or terms that you are notified of.


FleetCor reserves the right to access and disclose contact and personal information to comply with applicable laws, lawful government requests and any orders of the court.

We will update this policy from time to time to reflect changes in our business. You authorize your wireless operator (AT&T, Sprint, T-Mobile, US Cellular, Verizon, or any other branded wireless operator) to disclose to Fleetcor and its third-party service providers your mobile number, name, address, email, network status, customer type, customer role, billing type, mobile device identifiers (IMSI and IMEI) and other subscriber status and device details, if available, solely to verify your identity and prevent fraud for the duration of the business relationship.
